Abstract:
Die Pulmonalvenenisolation ist ein anerkanntes Standardverfahren in der interventionellen Therapie von paroxysmalem Vorhofflimmern. In einem Zeitraum von Februar 2008 bis September 2010 wurde bei 138 Patienten der Einfluss der linksatrialen Druckbelastung auf den langfristigen Prozedurerfolg untersucht. Hierbei konnte gezeigt werden, dass der Pv(e) als bester Prädiktor für ein Rezidiv von paroxysmalem Vorhofflimmern nach Katheterablation gewertet werden kann.

The pulmonary vein isolation is an accepted standard procedure in interventional therapy of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. In a period from February 2008 to September 2010, the influence of left atrial pressure load was examined for the long-term success of the procedure in 138 patients. It could be shown that the Pv (e) can be seen as the best predictor for recurrence of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation after catheter ablation.
