Retrospektive Analyse an 35 Patienten mit primärer Strahlentherapie bei nodalem und extranodalem Marginalzonenlymphom. Die lokale Kontrolle lag bei 100%, das 5-Jahres-Gesamt- und ereignisfreie Überleben bei 88% bzw. 66%. Der Remissionsstatus nach Strahlentherapie beeinflusste signifikant das Gesamtüberleben. Langzeittoxizität trat nur bei Patienten mit Bestrahlung in Kopf-Hals-Bereich auf, die Bestrahlungsdosis war nicht mit dem Auftreten von chronischer Toxizität asassoziiert. 23% der Patienten zeigten Rezidive. Auch hier stellte die Strahlentherapie eine wirksame Behandlungsmethode dar.     «

Retrospective analysis in 35 patients with nodal and extranodal marginal zone lymphoma treated with radiation therapy. Local control was 100%, the overall and event-free survival were 88% and 66% respectively. The state of remission after radiation was significantly associated with overall survival. Long-term toxicity only occurred in patients with radiation of the head and neck. The radiation dose was not associated with long-term toxicity. 23% of the patients showed out-field-recurrence. Radiation therapy was also a feasible treatment modality in patients with recurrent disease.     «
