Inhalt der Arbeit ist die Entwicklung und Überprüfung eines Verfahrens für das intraoperative Prozessmonitoring in der Chirurgie. Hierbei werden Schlüsselobjekte und -prozesse während chirurgischer Eingriffe in Echtzeit durch den Einsatz von Radio- Frequenz Identifikations-Technologie (RFID) analysiert. Der Fokus liegt dabei in der automatischen Erfassung von textilen Materialien (Bauchtüchern) und an der OP beteiligten Personen (OP-Team). Ziel ist es, den Verbleib der textilen Materialien kontinuierlich zu registrieren und die Bewegungen des OP- Teams automatisch abzubilden.      «

This dissertation deals with the development and examination of a process for intraoperative process monitoring in surgery. Key objects and processes are analyzed in real-time during surgical interventions with the help of the radio frequency identification technology (RFID). The focus is on the automatic capture of textile materials (abdominal cloths) and persons involved in the operation (surgical team). The aim is to continuously register the whereabouts of the textile materials and to map the movements of the surgical team automatically.      «
