This Bachelor Thesis addresses the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the field of civil engineering based on bridge models. The foucs is upon the creation of models with CAD software and the possibilities of the virtual building model, which will be surveyed in particular as regards the connection between planning model and structural model. Any software used for the creation and evaluation comes from the portfolio of the company Autodesk. At the end of the Thesis the different approaches will be compared, a solution attempt will be presented and the results will be considered. At First a literature review defines the necessary terms about BIM and parametric. This explains, why and how the construction industry should increase their productivity compared to other industries.     «
