Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht retrospektiv die Sicherheit der ADAM-Technik (Axillary Dissection with Access Minimized) nach Integration in die klinische Routine anhand von 250 Patientinnen, die im Zeitraum Januar 2006 bis April 2009 in der Frauenklinik rechts der Isar mittels ADAM-Technik an einem Mammakarzinom operiert wurden. Mittels operativer und tumorspezifischer Parameter, Parameter der onkologischen Sicherheit sowie dem postoperativem Verlauf und Komplikationen kann gezeigt werden, dass die ADAM-Technik eine sichere Operationsmethode ist und geeignet ist für die klinische Routine.     «

This paper retrospectively analyses the safeness of the ADAM-technique, which was integrated into the clinical routine on 250 patients with breast cancer, who received operation with such technique in the Gynaecological Hospital of the Technical University of Munich between January 2006 and April 2009. By using operative and tumor-specific parameters, oncological safety-related parameters, and the postoperative progress and complications, we are able to show that the ADAM-technique is a safe operation technique and can be recommended for the clinical routine.     «
