In einer retrospektiven Studie wurden die Daten einer konsekutiven Kohorte von 138 Patienten mit einem lokal fortgeschrittenen Plattenepithelkarzinom des Anus analysiert, die im Zeitraum zwischen 1988 und 2011 mittels Radio(chemo)therapie behandelt wurden. Die 5-Jahres-Überlebensrate betrug 82%±4%. T-Klassifikation, UICC-Stadium, histopathologisches Grading und der ECOG Performance Status hatten einen signifikanten Einfluss auf das Gesamtüberleben. Akuttoxizitäten Grad 3/4 und chronische Nebenwirkungen Grad 3 wurden bei 58% bzw. 37% der Patienten beobachtet.      «

In a retrospective study the data of a consecutive cohort of 138 patients with a locally advanced squamous cell anal cancer were analysed, who were treated with a radio(chemo)therapy in the period from 1988 to 2011. The 5-year overall survival rate was 82%±4%. T category, UICC clinical stage, histopathologic grading and the ECOG performance status were significantly associated with overall survival. Acute toxicity grade 3/4 and chronic side effects grade 3 were found in 58% and 37% of the patients, respectively.      «
