The dispersivity is a crucial parameter used to forecast the spatial distribution of particles in groundwater, which often have toxicological and ecotoxicological effects. While this is usually indirectly calculated from the concentration-time distribution, in this work, the dispersivity was calculated using a new process directly ascertained from the trajectories of approximately 10000 particles in a microfluidic system. In addition, the effects of hydrodynamic and hydro-chemical environment changes were quantified. Finally, this work also shows that dispersivity is influenced mainly by filtration effects.
