Der Einsatz der RFID-Technologie zur Kennzeichnung von Fahrzeugbauteilen schafft neue Chancen und Potenziale zur Transparenzerhöhung in der Automobilindustrie. Die Kennzeichnung und Erfassung von Einzelteilen - insbesondere im Fahrzeug - ist aber aufgrund der negativen Auswirkungen von Metall auf die Leistungsfähigkeit von RFID-Systemen mit vielschichtigen Herausforderungen behaftet. Der Fokus der Arbeit lag daher in der Entwicklung von technischen Konzepten zur Kennzeichnung und Erfassung von Fahrzeugbauteilen. Durch die Validierung an einem Versuchsfahrzeug konnte die technische Machbarkeit einer RFID-gestützten Bauzustandsdokumentation in der Automobilindustrie auf Basis der entwickelten Konzepte nachgewiesen werden.     «

The radio frequency identification creates new opportunities to enhance efficiency and transparency in the automobile industry. The labelling and identification of automobile single parts – especially inside the vehicle – poses a challenge due to the negative effects of metal on the performance of RFID-systems. Therefore the paper’s aim was the development of technical concepts for labelling employed automobile parts by means of the RFID technology. By using the developed concepts the technical feasibility of a RFID based documentation of the state of construction could be demonstrated within the scope of a field evaluation with a representative test automobile.      «
