- Translated abstract:
- Manually operated storage systems contribute considerably to the performance and costs of logistics networks. Low investment and high flexibility often make them an economic alternative to automated systems. The developed planning method addresses the problem of planning manually operated storage systems consisting of different storage areas. A case study shows that using the planning method allows to efficiently find a solution that causes low costs and keeps with the requirements.
