Abstract:
Isogeometric analysis provides the fundamental features for a fully CAD-integrated design process. Simple further processing of simulation results is enabled and therefore perfectly suited for the simulation of a building process. This is especially useful if slender (bending-active) structures with highly flexible components and large deformations are part of the simulation.
