Few IT-systems focus on collaboration in electronic music-making, despite evidence that musical engagement is embedded deeply into socio-cultural and collaborative constructs. Hence, certain socio-technological aspects and phenomena can not be leveraged for these creative tasks. We aim to foster musical collaboration by means of IT-driven, situative creativity support that makes use of interactive tabletops. Musical domains are approached on the basis of structural, perceptional and emotional qualities in music. We developed computational models for these domains and applied them in prototypical implementations. Results of user-studies indicate that creative collaboration can be fostered effectively.     «

Obwohl musikalische Betätigung tief in soziokulturelle und kollaborative Konstrukte eingebettet ist, fokussieren nur wenige IT-Systeme Kollaboration beim Musizieren. Im Zuge dessen werden kreativitätsfördernde Aspekte und Phänomene, die in einer sozialen Situation entstehen, nicht vollständig instrumentalisiert. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die synchrone musikalische Kollaboration am gleichen Ort zu fördern. Hierbei wird musikalische Struktur, Wahrnehmung, sowie Emotion auf einzelne Domänen in der Elektronischen Musik übertragen, modelliert und in prototypischen Anwendungen evaluiert. Nutzerstudien zeigen, dass die präsentierten Ansätze musikalische Kollaboration animieren, fördern, sowie das Verständnis von musikalischen Zusammenhängen unterstützen können.     «
