Abstract:
In this paper a method is presented for modeling sound fields in acoustic cavities. The acoustic cavity can contain acoustic elements such as compound absorbers or resonators. The calculations are performed by dividing the cavity into substructures where each substructure can contain acoustic elements. The coupling of the fluid with the compound absorber is done by using a Component Mode Synthesis, where the fluid component is considered by its normal modes and by constraint modes at the interf...     »
