Automatische Lagersysteme mit schienengeführten Regalbediengeräten sind seit mittlerweile etwa 50 Jahren ein wichtiger Bestandteil von Logistiksystemen. Trotz ständiger Weiterentwicklung ist der Übergabepunkt als Schnittstelle zwischen Lagergasse und Lagervorzone im Regelfall nach wie vor in einem Eckpunkt der Regale angeordnet. Diese Anordnung stellt hinsichtlich der mittleren Entfernung zu den Lagerfächern der Regale eine ungünstige Lösung dar. Eine Verkürzung der mittleren Entfernungen und folglich der mittleren Fahr- und Spielzeiten ist durch eine in dieser Dissertation untersuchte Anordnung mehrerer Übergabepunkte in einer Lagergasse möglich.     «

For about 50 years, automatic storage systems with rail-guided stacker cranes have been an important part of logistics systems. Despite the constant evolution, the I/O point as an interface between the storage aisle and pre-storage area is normally still located in a corner position of the shelves. This arrangement represents an unfavorable solution in terms of the mean distance to the racks’ storage locations. A reduction of the mean distances and consequently the mean travel and cycle times is possible through the arrangement of multiple I/O points in an aisle, which is being investigated by this thesis.     «
