The Impact of IS Research: Is it enough? How do we expand? How do we document?

Questions about the value of research, particularly in business and IS, have come to the foreground in recent days. Business schools are facing new reporting requirements related to the impact of research (AACSB International, 2008). National research funding has been revised, for example in Great Britain, to shift emphasis toward citations and other indicators of impact (Powell and Woerndl, 2008).
