In einem ersten Schritt werden die Verbreitung des Planungs- und Steuerungs-Instruments der Balanced Scorecard und die Berücksichtigung von Umweltschutz-Aspekten im Rahmen der Anwendung dieses Instruments bzw. von sogenannten Sustainability Balanced Scorecards in großen deutschen Unternehmen untersucht. Anschließend wird die Bedeutung von Umweltschutz und strategischer Planung als Kriterien von Fonds analysiert und die Präferenzstrukturen von Fonds-Managern mit Hilfe einer Conjoint-Analyse untersucht. In einem dritten Schritt wird versucht, einen Überblick über die Anbieter von Öko-Ratings zu gewinnen und mit einer schriftlichen Befragung wird die Bedeutung von Umweltschutz und strategischer Planung für Öko-Ratings analysiert.     «

In a first step is being researched the spread of the planning and controlling instrument Balanced Scorecard within large German companies as well as the significance of the environmental aspects in relation with the usage of Balanced Scorecard respectively Sustainability Balanced Scorecard. Subsequently, the meaning of environmental protection and strategic planning - as criterion of the funds – and the preference structure of the fund managers is analysed with the help of Conjoint Analysis. In a third step, after gaining an overview of the eco-rating providers, is investigated empirically the relevance of both environmental protection and strategic planning for the eco-rating.      «
