Derzeit hauptsächlich mit Eigenknochen behandelt, erfordert diese Rekonstruktionsmethode einen Zweiteingriff, bei dem es häufig zu Komplikationen an der Entnahmestelle kommen kann. Zur Schaffung einer neuartigen und effektiven Behandlungsalternative erfolgt in der vorliegenden Arbeit die Entwicklung eines synthetischen, osteokonduktiven Polymergerüsts, basierend auf CT Daten von Patienten. Durch die Verschmelzung von Keramiken und resorbierbaren Polymeren durch Mikrowellenbestrahlung konnte ein intraoperativ form- und bohrbarer Scaffold mit remodellierbaren Eigenschaften geschaffen werden.
