Taking this into account and considering the point of view of an ´importing country`, a methodological approach for the transfer of Land-Development-instruments is proposed, namely with the example of the Bavarian Village-Renewal-Instrument. The result consists of recommendations for an instrument to village renewal in Chile. They refer to principles and goals, organisation and planning procedures.
