Abstract:
Prion diseases are fatal neurodegenerative infectious disorders for which no therapeutic or prophylactic regimens exist. Our work aims to eliminate PrP(c) as substrate for the conversion into PrP(Sc) and to increase the cellular clearance capacity of PrP(Sc).
