Description:
This dataset contains the simulation and measurement data obtained using two electrochemical cell models to evaluate the impact of initial conditions on fast charging capability of two lithium-ion battery cells. Further information can be obtained from the corresponding publication titled "Revealing the effect of initial conditions and the potential of self-heating versus active heating on fast-charged lithium-ion batteries"
Method of data assessment:
Measurements were obtained using Basytec XCTS and CTS battery cyclers, with the battery cells placed in thermal chambers. Simulation data was obtained using two electrochemical battery models in MATLAB/Simulink, for which we refer to the corresponding publication
