Bei der Investition in betriebliche Standardsoftware ist der vorausgelagerte Entscheidungsprozess von Bedeutung. Ziel ist es, die richtigen Standardsoftware-Systeme zu wählen, sie auf die Business Anforderungen abzustimmen, die organisatorischen Anforderungen des Unternehmens zu berücksichtigen sowie eine ökonomische und strategische Rechtfertigung zu finden. Diese Arbeit leistet einen Beitrag zur Entscheidungsfindung und Einsatzsteuerung von betrieblicher Standardsoftware in Unternehmen. Zu diesem Zweck werden die Entscheidungswege bei Deutschlands führenden Automobilherstellern und -zulieferern beim Einsatz der Software SAP ermittelt. Ausgehend von der empirisch ermittelten Zielsetzung eines Unternehmens an seinen SAP-Einsatz wird ein Kennzahlensystem zu Steuerung von SAP-Landschaften und ein Messverfahren für den Standardisierungsgrad von für den Einsatz angepasster Standardsoftware entwickelt und im Rahmen einer Fallstudie in einem Beispielunternehmen evaluiert.     «

During the investment in standard business software the preliminary decision-making process is of importance. The objective is to select the adequate standard software systems, to adjust them with the businesses requirements, to consider the organizational requirements of the enterprise as well as to find an economic and strategic justification. This work makes a contribution for decision making and operations control of standard business software in enterprises. For this purpose the decision processes of Germany´s leading car manufacturers and -suppliers are analysed regarding their application of the software SAP. On the basis of empirically identified objectives of one enterprise to its SAP application, a key performance indicator system to control SAP landscapes and a measuring procedure for the standardisation degree of adapted standard business software are defined and evaluated in the context of a case study in an exemplary enterprise.     «
