In investment projects in machine and plant manufacture, the initial costs of acquisition is often the main decision criterion. A consideration of the life-cycle costs is neglected, although the actual operating costs may be decisive for an economical plant operation. The present work closes the gap of a missing specific life-cycle cost model for intralogistics systems.
