Translated abstract:
Precise information about the load distribution in the tooth contact can improve the quality of calculation results regarding strength and durability of gear stages. Therefore, an exact determination of the load distribution in the tooth contact is a major goal at designing gearboxes. The determination of the load distribution in the tooth contact requires a sophisticated deformation analysis of the mechanical system gear-shaft-bearing-housing. In practical application, analytical methods of deformation analyses dominate. A sophisticated static deformation analysis is the prerequisite of these calculations of the load distribution in tooth contact.
The usage of analytical mechanical submodels imply the existence of certain system boundaries. Investigations regarding the validity of analytical deformation analyses at their system boundaries are required. Within this work, a systematic validation of the mechanical system gear-shaft-bearing-housing at selected system boundaries is carried out. For this purpose, deformation measurements of two test gearboxes have been taken by using a coordinate measuring machine. Indications for modelling, boundaries of validity and a proposal to adjust the meshing stiffness for different wheel body geometries are the result of this work.
