In this thesis, a methodology is developed to quickly calculate and select automotive composite parts in the early design phase. Therefore, the influencing design parameters topology, material, and manufacturing process are chosen by an advanced selection heuristic after simplified and fast calculation methods generated important selection attributes of components of a composite vehicle structure. Validation test and plausibility test results show a good accordance with elaborate simulation results.
