Model order reduction methods speed up the analysis of high-dimensional nonlinear finite element models by reducing their size while approximately maintaining the same dynamics as the full-order models. This dissertation develops non-intrusive model reduction approach that has the advantage of being applicable to commercial finite element software. Moreover, this work investigates non-intrusive substructuring of large multi-component structures, which is beneficial to analyze the components separately and facilitate parallel computation.
