- In einem zweistufigen Verfahren werden unvollständige 3D-Punktwolken segmentiert, indem Punkte normiert, orthogonal projiziert, gerastert, vektorisiert und abgeleitete Hashes mit einer Datenbank verglichen werden. Danach findet eine graphbasierte Rekonstruktion durch zellulären Automaten unter Nutzung einer Bibliothek von idealen Kirchenmodellen statt. Das Verfahren wurde mit simulierten Daten unterschiedlichen Zerstörungsgrades und realen Daten von vier Kirchen verschiedener Baustile getestet.

- In a two-step procedure, first the incomplete 3D point clouds are segmented by normalization, orthogonal projection, rasterization, vectorization and the comparison of derived hashes with a database. Subsequently, a graph-based reconstruction is performed by cellular automata using a library of ideal church models. The procedure has been tested with both simulated data featuring a variety of levels of destruction, and real data from four churches with differing architectural styles.
