The all-solid-state battery, in comparison to the conventional lithium-ion battery, offers the potential for higher energy densities with improved safety. In this thesis, requirements for an industrial production of all-solid-state batteries are determined and potential processing routes are derived. Based on a systematic evaluation of alternative manufacturing technologies, the cost development along the process chain is calculated for different scenarios. The results of this work thus provide a profound decision support for upscaling.
