Translated abstract:
The treatment of chronic wounds with endogenous growth factors from Platelet Rich Plasma is promising. However, complex manufacturing processes and lacking proof of efficacy are currently limiting its use. In this work, an automated production method is developed and a proliferation-enhancing effect of the autologous blood derivatives on fibroblasts is demonstrated. A spray applicator is designed with an additive manufactured two-fluid nozzle and the influence of atomizing the blood products is investigated.
