Abstract:
5G brings innovation challenges for the spectra of computing and connectivity technology. Cellular modems, in particular, have to support various services and applications requiring low to high data rates. Therefore, the co-optimization of power and performance for architecture along circuit design is inevitable. In order to meet this challenge, this work presents a modular and distributed setup.

5G bringt Innovationsherausforderungen für die Spektren der Computer- und Konnektivitätstechnologie. Insbesondere Mobilfunkmodems müssen verschiedene Dienste und Anwendungen unterstützen, die niedrige bis hohe Datenraten erfordern. Daher ist die gemeinsame Optimierung von Leistung und Leistung für die Architektur entlang des Schaltungsdesigns unvermeidlich. Um dieser Herausforderung zu begegnen, präsentiert diese Arbeit einen modularen und verteilten Aufbau.
