Translated abstract:
The segmentation of an image of a surface is an essential processing step of many systems used for automated visual inspections. A single image of the surface strongly depends on the direction of a directive illumination. For this reason, a series of images is taken, while the illumination direction is changed. In general, the series contains more information about the surface comparing to a single image. The thesis presents methods for the segmentation of a surface based on such an image series. The advantages of taking image series rather than relying on a single image are demonstrated on several examples.
