Abstract:
This work explores the use of solution processable electrolyte gated carbon nanotube transistor on a flexible substrate for biosensing applications. Biocompatibility of CNTs, their use as an impedance electrode is investigated. Different sensor architectures for single and multiple sensor arrays are developed. Using this as a platform several classes of biosensors targeted towards biochemicals such as ions, enzymes, neurotransmitters and DNA are developed.
