Translated abstract:
To successfully achieve the targets of „Energiewende“, existing congestion issues in the distribution and transmission grids must be solved. In more than 75 % of all cases, voltage boundary violations limit the integration of additional renewable energy sources in distribution grids. It has been shown that selective grid reinforcement in combination with the use of decentralized, active voltage controllers is one of the preferred solutions to this task. In this thesis, detailed models of voltage controlling equipment are developed to analyse the stability and interactions of active voltage controllers. The results are condensed into recommendations for action.
