Abstract:
Projective Spatial Augmented Reality (P-SAR) techniques use a projector-camera system to augment the physical environment with virtual information. In an industrial context, this technology can assist humans to increase productivity of processes in prototyping, manufacturing, quality assurance (QA), and service. This thesis describes methods for interactively tracking complex-shaped physical objects and for the semi-automatic calibration of a projector-camera system in a P-SAR scenario.
