Kurzfassung:
The increase of online communication has been accompanied by several problems. Lies and fake news spread easily - even during disasters - and people find it difficult to assess each other's trust and competence. To counter these issues we conceptualized, designed, and investigated a Contributive Social Capital (CSC) system. It is based on network analysis, a novel modelling with market systems, and certifications. Several experiments indicate that it can create transparency regarding a user's CSC and can thereby counter the issues.
