Translated abstract:
This paper presents the first computer-aided procedure developed to optimize energy consumption for an entire industrial plant. The methodological approach is based on subdividing energy supply and utilization technologies of a plant into frequently occurring, mathematically expressed units (modules). The procedure makes calculating complex energy flows within the plant from the production data and the sequence of the modules possible. Using variations in production data, parameters within the modules, and the number and circuits of the modules, the influence of the respective variations on the energy consumption of the plant can be determined much more quickly than previously possible.
