Translated abstract:
The γ-glutamyltranspeptidase of the F. tularensis (FgGT) was characterized as a potential drug target for the development of new anti-infectives against tularemia. This thesis describes the validation of the biochemical standard activity assay in order to search for specific FgGT inhibitors. In addition to this specific FgGT activity assay, the biochemical characterization and the elucidation of the crystal structure provide a sound foundation for the search of FtgGT inhibitory substances and for the development of the active substance against tularemia.
