To avoid unnecessary iterations in vehicle chassis design, interactions with other components and subsystems (e.g. engine, body) must be considered. However, often those components are not fully specified, particularly in an early design phase. Solution Spaces enable to consider those uncertainties and thus improve the development process in terms of robustness and efficiency. This thesis deals with novel approaches to compute Solution Spaces based on computer simulation. An industrial problem emphasizes the advantages of the proposed approaches compared to existing approaches.
