Abstract:
Domain decomposition(DD), both overlapping and non-overlapping type, are pivotal in enabling numerical simulation of several elaborate engineering models and complex multiphysics phenomena. A novel monolithic modification to master-slave elimination approach is introduced to solve Chimera problems in CFD, including MPI parallelization technique. In the context of partitioned simulations the current work proposes a novel detached-interface approach for realizing a generic co-simulation framework.
