This thesis presents a numerical hybrid approach for the prediction of vibrational energy flow in structures. The Energy Flow Analysis applies averaging techniques of the Statistical Energy Analysis in the post-processing of the Finite Element Method. The sound transmission across junctions of cross laminated timber plates is investigated. Depending on the frequency range, different modeling techniques and evaluation quantities proved to be convenient. A web-based, interactive application "Vibroacoustics of Plates" has been made available for identification of frequency range limits of the structure in question.
