In dieser Arbeit werden klassische Verfahren der Architektur und Strategien der Steuerung verfahrenstheoretisch und wirkungsgeschichtlich analysiert. Dabei wird deutlich, dass sich die Disziplin entweder in einem auf ökonomische Produktivität ausgerichteten Konfliktmodus oder in einem Modus der Konfliktvermeidung befindet. Angesichts einer „neuen Konflikthaftigkeit“ stellt sich die Frage, ob es auch in der Architektur eines neuen Konfliktverständnisses bedarf, das die Chance darstellt, jene sich ankündigende Umbrüche zu bewältigen, wenn nicht gar zu gestalten.     «

In this work, classical procedures of architecture and strategies of control are analysed in terms of procedural theory and history of effects. In the process, it becomes clear that the discipline is either in a mode of conflict oriented towards economic productivity or in a mode of conflict avoidance. In light of a "new conflictuality", the question arises as to whether a new understanding of conflict is also needed in architecture, which represents the opportunity to cope with, if not shape, those imminent upheavals.     «
