Biodiversity on arable fields has sharply declined in recent decades. Active restoration measures are necessary to counteract a further impoverishment of the arable flora. In this dissertation, the effects of seed provenance and agricultural management on the reintroduction of rare arable plants were investigated. Low regional differentiation and local adaptation of the study species supports seed transfer within given seed zones. Extensively managed fields with low crop densities and adapted crop rotations provide good conditions for successful reintroduction.
