Abstract:
In this work, a Coupled Level Set and Volume of Fluid (CLSVOF) solver using a geometric advection scheme is proposed and implemented. By improving droplet advection fidelity compared to existing methods, a reduction in the cost of characterising liquid breakup can be achieved, contributing to better fuel atomisation in propulsion systems.
