Within the scope of this PhD thesis, a new approach for synthesizing electrical, thermal and mobility profiles based on german time budget datasets is conducted. The main model called MOHEMA is integrated into an home energy system model including a building module and an optimization tool for energy system layout and operation planning. Besides a fundamental validation of MOHEMA, potentials of single family households using home energy management systems and load shifting actions are analysed by implementation of various scenarios in the home energy system model.
