- Abstract:
- This present work provides comprehensive NMR structural and functional insights into the membrane porin OEP21 in chloroplasts. It was shown that the interaction and transport of metabolites depend on their electrostatic properties. Furthermore, Tic40 from chloroplasts was structurally studied by NMR and thus the difference in fertility of plants carrying two different Tic40 variants could be better understood.

- Diese vorliegende Arbeit liefert umfassende NMR-strukturelle und funktionelle Erkenntnisse über das Membran-Porin OEP21 in Chloroplasten. Es konnte gezeigt werden, dass die Interaktion und der Transport von Metaboliten von deren elektrostatischen Eigenschaften abhängen. Des weiteren wurde Tic40 aus Chloroplasten mit NMR strukturell untersucht und damit konnte der Unterschied in der Fertilität von Pflanzen, welche zwei verschiedene Tic40 Varianten tragen, besser verstanden werden.
