Abstract:
The temperature changes after moisture jumps on different material surfaces were demonstrated in laboratory tests. These phenomena (latent heat effects) also occur with gradual moisture changes but less pronounced amplitudes. Especially measurements in field tests, therefore, require methods that can record very small temperature differences without environmental influences.
