Abstract:
In the Firenwood project four different test series were performed to investigate the behaviour of glued-in metallic fasteners under the influence of heat, in particular for a fire load. In order to simulate the test specimen temperatures of the individual test series 2 of the Firenwood tests, a finite element method (FEM) was performed using ANSYS Workbench Version 21 R2. Based on these results, the test specimens of test series 4 were planned and the design model was validated.
