Abstract:
The purpose of this contribution is to present two approaches to analyze a 2D halfspace with two empty canyons, exposed to an oblique incident S-wave. Two residuals are formulated to couple the free field solution for an incident wave front with the scattered wave field, which is described by the Wave Based Method (WBM).
