Abstract:
This paper presents an adaptively augmented LQR controller for the FSD ExtremeStar, a high agility model airplane. Uncertainties in the control effectiveness are compensated by a direct model reference adaptive controller (MRAC), which uses closed-loop reference models (CRMs).
