Abstract:
In this paper, a weighting-factor-less model predictive direct power control (MP-DPC) algorithm is proposed for the three-level NPC rectifier. Despite two vectors need to be sequentially performed in some cases in a control period, the switching frequency just increases a few because there is a half chance that the two vectors may be the exact same one in the proposed algorithm.
