Abstract:
Finite control set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) has been utilized ever since in different applications, e.g. variable-speed wind turbines, due to its simplicity and good performance. However, on account of production and application of only one switching vector during each sampling interval, large ripples occur in the state variables of the system, in FCS-MPC strategy.
