The developed method allows an efficient use of the ultrasonic handling technology in an automated assembly process of flat micro parts. The necessary steps for integrating the handling technology are illustrated both in the existing assembly machine as well as in the established packaging process of integrated circuits. In addition, the developed parameter model allows the individual calibration of the non-contact handling process depending on the particular characteristic of the assembly machine and the assembly task.
